In the middle of June, Auxergo attended the Medical Device Security Risk Management workshop held by Medilink in Birmingham. The workshop covered security threats, risk analysis standards and process, cybersecurity threats, physical assets, threats surface, vulnerability and weakness, and several aspects of risk controls. Human factors and security risk management are two very important and complementary aspects needed during the medical device design and development process. Auxergo shared our human factors and risk management experience on medical devices, especially home use medical devices for lay users. We also shared our visions and missions for establishing and developing human factors services in China, as well as potential research topics we can work on with for NHS. We received a positive response, and Medilink and other companies showed a strong willingness to work with us.
